SINGS BIG BAND ERA MUSIC 

Ed Palmer is a professional baritone singer, and he sings songs to the music made popular during the Big Band era.  He captures the hearts and minds of people who wish to remember those wonderful and exciting times while listening and dancing to the Big Band Swing era. Young and old alike, enjoy listening and dancing to Ed’s voice as he sings songs made popular by such great artists as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Louie Armstrong, Tony Bennett, Elvis Presley, Johnnie Mathis, Barry Manilow, Eddie Arnold, the Four Aces, Don Ho and others. Ed was a winner of the Third All-Navy Talent Contest. Raymond Burr (one of the five judges and movie actor –as well as the main actor on TV’s Perry Mason and Iron Sides) told Ed that he was the Navy’s answer to a cross between Frank Sinatra and Eddie Fisher. While in the Navy, Ed traveled to Japan and sang on radio in Yokusuka and Sasebo, at Officer’s Clubs, USOs and various night clubs. After discharge from the Navy, Ed sang at such venues as the Hollywood Bowl, backing up such singers as Gogi Grant and Rhonda Fleming. Also, on Saturday nights, one would see Ed at the Aragon Ballroom in Santa Monica mixing it up with the Lawrence Welk orchestra. Ed has also sung at venues in Maui, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, local client appreciation dinner and dancing events and other venues. Over the last 9 years, Ed has recorded six (6) albums and sells them at his performances and through his website www.edpalmersingspopmusic.com.
